Kuraray GC Advanced Materials started production at a new isoprene derivatives facility in Map Ta Phut, Rayong, Thailand, with capacities of 16 ktpa thermoplastic elastomers and 13 ktpa polyamide 9T. Kuraray also built a separate 5 ktpa MPD plant.
