# Ampo Poyam Valves ships over 2,100 slurry valves for NALCO alumina refinery in India

Ampo Poyam Valves has delivered more than 2,100 slurry angle severe-service valves for NALCO's alumina refinery at Damanjodi, Odisha, for a fifth stream expansion. The valves were made at Ampo India in Coimbatore, and Thyssenkrupp Industrial Solutions was the PMC contractor. The plant's total capacity will rise from 2.275 to 3.275 MTPA.
