Thyssenkrupp Steel commenced construction of an electric strip annealing and insulating line at its Bochum site, with an investment of about €150 million ($159M). The line will produce up to 218,000 metric tons per year of non-grain-oriented electrical steel and is scheduled for completion by 2024.
