# Sumitomo (SHI) Demag doubling machine production capacity in Ningbo, China

Sumitomo (SHI) Demag has started construction of a new 4,000 m² production hall at its Ningbo site, doubling production capacity and creating 50 jobs. The facility will expand production to include larger tonnage Systec Servo machines up to 1,500 tons. The new hall is set to open in autumn 2023.
