# Covestro to build its largest TPU site in Zhuhai, China

Covestro will build a new Thermoplastic Polyurethanes (TPU) production site in Zhuhai, China, with a total capacity of 120,000 tons per year after three phases. The first phase, with 30,000 tons capacity and about 80 jobs, is expected to be mechanically completed by end of 2025; the final phase by 2033. Total investment is in the low three-digit million euro range.
