# Avangard increases investment in Shakhty polyester staple fiber plant to RUB 4.5 billion

Avangard, a large wet wipe producer, has increased its investment in the Shakhty Polyester Plant (OOO Shakhtinsky Poliefirny Zavod) to 4.5 billion rubles. The plant, which will produce polyester staple fiber, is 97% complete and scheduled to launch in Q1-Q2 2023, with a daily capacity of up to 200 tons and 260 new jobs.
