# Idemitsu and Toray to build Japan's first biomass ABS resin supply chain

Idemitsu Kosan and Toray Industries have agreed to build a supply chain for biomass ABS resin in Japan. Idemitsu will manufacture biomass styrene monomer using mass balance, and Toray's Chiba Plant will produce biomass ABS resin starting in October 2023.
