# Ineos and Sinopec establish 50-50 ABS joint venture

Ineos and Sinopec have completed the establishment of a 50-50 acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (ABS) joint venture based on Ineos's proprietary ABS technology. The JV will have a production capacity of up to 1.2 million metric tons/year, including a 600,000 tons/year ABS plant under construction in Ningbo, China, due for completion in 2023.
