PT Adaro Energy Indonesia Tbk is planning an expansion of its aluminum smelter and power plant in Kalimantan Industrial Park, North Kalimantan. The smelter, owned by subsidiary PT Kalimantan Aluminium Industry, will have an annual capacity of 2 million tons. Construction is expected to take 24 months.
