# Daiki Axis Japan plans new sewage treatment plant in south India

Daiki Axis Japan plans to set up a new factory in south India (Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka or Tamil Nadu) to produce sewage water treatment units using Johkasou technology. The investment and capacity will be similar to its Palwal plant (Rs 200 crore, 1,000 units/year). Construction is expected to begin in 2023.
