# GreenTech and GreenFiber International merge to form new GreenTech

GreenTech SA, Europe's largest PET recycler, merged with GreenFiber International, a producer of synthetic fibers from recycled PET, effective 1 December 2022. GreenTech SA was absorbed by GreenFiber International, which then renamed to GreenTech.
