# MYTILINEOS and GE Gas Power to build 200MW gas power plant in Dublin for ESB

GE Gas Power and MYTILINEOS signed a contract with Ireland's Electricity Supply Board (ESB) to build a new 200MW natural gas power plant at the existing North Wall station in Dublin. The plant will use six GE LM2500XPRESS gas turbines and serve as emergency backup power, expected to be operational before the winter of 2023-24.
