Compact Membrane Systems and Braskem have signed a joint development agreement to pilot CMS's Optiperm carbon membrane technology for carbon capture on post-combustion flue gas at a Braskem location. The pilot aims to capture at least 1 ton of CO2 per day and is scheduled for deployment in 2024.
