# Valmet to deliver technology and automation for CMPC's Guaíba pulp mill modernization

Valmet and CMPC finalized an agreement under which Valmet will supply key technology and automation for the BioCMPC project at the Guaíba pulp mill in Brazil. The line 2 capacity will rise from 1.5 to 1.85 million ADt/y, with start-up expected in Q4 2023. The order value was not disclosed.
