# Cummins expands PEM electrolyzer capacity in Belgium to 1 GW

Cummins Inc. will expand PEM electrolyzer manufacturing capacity at its Oevel, Belgium, factory to 1 gigawatt, supported by the IPCEI Hy2Tech program and funding from Flanders Innovation & Entrepreneurship Agency. The expansion will help develop a new generation of PEM electrolyzer cell stacks for large-scale hydrogen production.
