# Siam Cement and AJ Plast form joint venture for BOPET film plant in Vietnam

Siam Cement Plc (SCC) announced a joint venture with AJ Plast Plc to produce biaxially oriented polyethylene terephthalate film (BOPET) in Vietnam. SCC will hold 45% and AJ Plast 55% of the new company, with a total equity investment of 851 million baht (US$22.7 million). Commercial production is expected in the first half of 2024.
