OQ Chemicals has taken a final investment decision to build propionic aldehyde capacity and infrastructure to support Röhm in constructing a world-scale methyl methacrylate plant at OQ Chemicals' Bay City, Texas site. The plant has a design capacity of 250,000 tons per year and will use Röhm's LiMA technology, with mechanical completion slated for Q1 2024.
