# ROHM Group expands PMMA production capacity at Shanghai plant

ROHM Group held a groundbreaking ceremony for the expansion of its PLEXIGLAS® PMMA molding compound plant in Shanghai. The expansion, with a total investment of 240 million yuan, will add a PMMA production line with capacity of 20,000 tons/year and increase MMA capacity to 127,000 tons/year. Completion is expected in Q2 2023.
