# Kalmar transfers heavy crane IP and assets to Jiangsu Rainbow Industrial Equipment

Kalmar, part of Cargotec, signed an agreement to transfer intellectual property and assets related to heavy cranes (RTG, RMG, STS, ASC) to Jiangsu Rainbow Industrial Equipment Co., Ltd. (Rainbow Industrial) in Taicang, China. About 40 Kalmar employees will transfer to Rainbow Industrial, with completion expected in September 2022 subject to Chinese government approval.
