# John Deere expands collaboration with Wacker Neuson on excavators

John Deere expanded its commercial relationship with Wacker Neuson for the development and manufacturing of excavators under nine tonnes. Under the expanded agreement, Wacker Neuson will manufacture excavators under five tonnes (including battery electric models), while John Deere will control design and manufacturing for models from five to nine tonnes. The agreement now includes North America in addition to Oceania, China, and Southeast Asia.
