# NKT receives EUR 700M order for second SuedOstLink cable system from 50Hertz

NKT received an extension order worth less than EUR 700 million from German transmission system operator 50Hertz for the second system of the SuedOstLink project. NKT will supply and install approximately 275 km of 525 kV XLPE high-voltage DC onshore power cable solutions, with commissioning expected in 2027.
