# Valmet and Neles agree merger to create process industry flow control and automation leader

Valmet and Neles signed a combination agreement and merger plan under which Neles will merge into Valmet, creating a company with illustrative 2020 net sales of about EUR 4.3 billion and around 17,000 staff. The combination targets roughly EUR 25 million in annual run-rate synergies.
