# Carbios and consortium brands develop first food-grade enzymatically recycled PET bottles

Carbios, working with L'Oréal, Nestlé Waters, PepsiCo and Suntory Beverage & Food Europe, produced sample food-grade PET bottles made entirely from enzymatically recycled plastic. Carbios plans a demonstration plant and a 40,000-ton facility by 2025.
