# Kyocera to build new factory at Kagoshima Sennai plant for semiconductor packages

Kyocera Corporation decided to build the 23rd factory at its Kagoshima Sennai plant in Satsumasendai, Kagoshima Prefecture, to increase production capacity for organic packages and crystal device packages. The total investment is approximately JPY 62.5 billion, with construction starting in May 2022 and operations beginning in October 2023.
