RHI Magnesita and Horn & Co. Group have formed a joint venture to process spent refractory material, with RHI Magnesita owning a 51% stake. The venture will combine recycling facilities in Siegen, Germany and Mitterdorf, Austria, and is expected to process around 150 ktpa of material.
