# Air Liquide awarded long-term gas supply contracts by semiconductor leaders in Japan

Air Liquide has been awarded long-term contracts by two major semiconductor market leaders for ultra-high purity industrial gases in Japan. To fulfill these, Air Liquide has begun a staged investment of more than €300 million in four state-of-the-art gas plants to produce over 1.5 billion Nm3 per year of nitrogen and other high purity gases.
