# Xin Yuen Chuan to build NT$2 billion rubber conveyor belt and thermoplastic composite plant

Xin Yuen Chuan Co., Ltd., a rubber conveyor belt manufacturer, is investing over NT$2 billion (approx. USD 72 million) in a three-phase new plant in Nantou, Taiwan. The first phase, costing NT$800 million, includes a six-story building with automated and unmanned production lines for thermoplastic carbon fiber composite products, targeting aerospace, electric vehicle and sports equipment markets. Production is expected to start in Q3 2022.
