# Holcim to acquire Cemex operations in Western Germany and divest Czech business

Holcim announces a series of interlinked transactions with Cemex: Holcim will purchase Cemex's operations in Western Germany (including one cement plant, two grinding stations, 22 aggregates locations, 79 ready-mix plants) and divest Holcim Česko to Cemex. In Spain, the two companies will combine operations with Holcim taking a 25% shareholding. Holcim will pay Cemex EUR 70 million in cash.
