# Deere and Hitachi to dissolve 33-year joint excavator venture

John Deere and Hitachi Construction Machinery will dissolve their joint venture for manufacturing excavators in the Americas after February 28, 2022. Deere will purchase the joint venture plants, and Hitachi will supply excavator kits to Deere under a new supply agreement.
