# NLMK Group plans new metals and mining facility at Stoilensky plant

NLMK Group signed a memorandum of intent with the Belgorod Region and Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade to construct a new metals and mining facility at the Stoilensky Mining and Beneficiation plant, including expansion of the open-pit mine, new beneficiation capacities, a pelletizing plant, and an HBI shop. Investment is approximately 250 billion rubles, creating up to 1,300 jobs, with commissioning scheduled for 2027-2028.
