# Aegea consortium wins two water concession blocks in Rio de Janeiro

Aegea Saneamento, through a consortium, won blocks 1 and 4 in the CEDAE auction for the full concession of water supply and sanitation services for 35 towns in the State of Rio de Janeiro. The winning bids were R$ 8.2 billion and R$ 7.2 billion, with total investments of R$ 30 billion over 35 years.
