Röhm and OQ Chemicals signed a Memorandum of Understanding to evaluate building a 250,000 tons/year methyl methacrylate (MMA) plant on the U.S. Gulf Coast, using Röhm's LiMA technology. The plant is expected to create about 70 direct jobs and be commissioned in 2023.
