# Metalloinvest and UZTM-KARTEX to jointly develop EKG-30R mining excavator

Metalloinvest and UZTM-KARTEX signed an agreement to jointly develop, produce and test the new EKG-30R mining excavator with a 30 cubic meter bucket capacity. Pilot testing is expected to begin in Q1 2022 at Metalloinvest's Lebedinsky GOK or Mikhailovsky GOK.
