Siemens Industrial Turbomachinery (Sweden) supplied the first gas turbine for the Novopolotsk Cogeneration Plant's 100MW peak-reserve power source, with the second turbine due by end of May 2021. The project is part of a plan to build 800 MW of peak-reserve capacity at four sites in Belarus.
