Formosa Plastics Group and Tokuyama Corp formed a 50/50 joint venture, Formosa Tokuyama Advanced Chemicals Co, with NT$1 billion capital, to manufacture high-purity isopropyl alcohol in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. Production is expected to begin by December 2021.
