# Universal Cables expands capacity at Satna plant for cables and capacitors

Universal Cables Ltd. completed a capacity expansion at its Satna, Madhya Pradesh facility, increasing Power & Control Cables capacity from 11,000 km to 18,000 km per annum, LT & HT Power Capacitors from 1,500 MVAR to 4,500 MVAR per annum, and adding 3,600 MT per annum of Thermoplastic Compounds. The fixed capital investment was approximately Rs. 117 crore.
