# EQUANS and Smulders win contract for Saint-Brieuc offshore substation

A joint venture of EQUANS and Smulders (Iemants) has won a contract from Ailes Marines (Iberdrola) to engineer, construct, install and test the offshore substation for the 496 MW Saint-Brieuc wind farm off France. Works have started; sail-away is scheduled for spring/summer 2022.
