# Nexans wins €2.1M power cable contract for Nikola Tesla A plant

Nexans signed a €2.1 million contract with Coptech to deliver 206 km of fire retardant power cables for a new flue gas desulfurization unit at Serbia's Nikola Tesla A coal-fired power plant in Obrenovac. The cables will be manufactured at Nexans' Denizli factory in Turkey, with first deliveries in 2020 and final deliveries in 2021.
