# Siemens launches SGT5-9000 HL gas turbine for Keadby 2 power plant

Siemens Gas and Power began moving its SGT5-9000 HL gas turbine from Berlin to the UK for installation at SSE Thermal's Keadby 2 combined cycle power plant in Lincolnshire. The 593-MW turbine is the company's largest and most powerful heavy-duty gas turbine.
