# MHPS receives order for steam turbine equipment for Datan Power Plant in Taiwan

Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems (MHPS) received an order from Taiwan Power Company (TPC) to supply steam turbine and generator equipment to convert Unit 7 of the Datan Power Plant to a GTCC system. Combined cycle operations are scheduled to begin in November 2023, increasing output from 600 MW to 900 MW.
