# MHPS begins commissioning of T-Point 2 combined cycle power plant validation facility

Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems began commissioning of T-Point 2, a new combined cycle power plant validation facility at Takasago Works in Hyogo, Japan. The facility will validate the 1650°C-class JAC gas turbine and is expected to achieve over 566 MW output with nearly 64% efficiency.
