# Alstom wins €100M contract for 11 battery-electric trains in Germany

Alstom will manufacture, deliver and maintain 11 Coradia Continental battery-electric trains (BEMUs) for Verkehrsverbund Mittelsachsen (VMS) and Zweckverband für den Nahverkehrsraum Leipzig (ZVNL) for the Leipzig-Chemnitz route. The contract is worth around €100 million, with maintenance until 2032.
