# CNOOC and Shell to build world-scale polycarbonate plant in Huizhou

CNOOC's subsidiary CNOOC Petrochemical and Shell Nanhai have signed a memorandum of understanding to jointly develop and build a world-scale polycarbonate plant at the CNOOC and Shell petrochemical complex in Huizhou, Guangdong, China. A research center will also be built alongside.
