# Carbios and INSA Toulouse establish enzymatic engineering research lab

Carbios announced a strategic alliance with INSA Toulouse to establish a cooperative research laboratory called PoPLaB (Plastic Polymers and Biotechnologies) at INSA Toulouse, focused on enzymatic engineering for plastic recycling and biosynthesis. The lab will be inaugurated on January 28, 2020.
