# Chantiers de l'Atlantique starts construction of first French offshore wind substation

Chantiers de l'Atlantique cut the first steel for the electrical substation (S34) for the Saint-Nazaire offshore wind farm, the first in France. The substation will be delivered in 2021 for the 480 MW park developed by EDF and Enbridge.
