# Profotech and Elektroapparat partner to develop GIS with optical current transformers

Profotech signed a cooperation agreement with Elektroapparat to jointly develop, produce and implement high-voltage gas insulated switchgear (GIS) with built-in fiber-optic current transformers for the Russian market. The first product, GIS 110 kV, has passed investigative tests and is ready for advance orders.
