# GC, Kuraray, Sumitomo break ground on advanced plastics plants in Thailand

GC, Kuraray, and Sumitomo held a foundation stone laying ceremony for two projects in Rayong, Thailand: a thermoplastic elastomer and polyamide plant (KGC) and an isobutylene derivative plant, with combined capacities of 13,000 tons/year PA9T and 16,000 tons/year HSBC.
