# Japan's Sugano Packing Materials to build flexible packaging plant in Sri Lanka

Sri Lanka's Board of Investment signed an agreement with Japanese firm Sugano Packing Materials to set up a plant in Ja-Ela making flexible packaging, mainly flat-bottomed bags for the tea industry. A large pouching machine will be brought to Sri Lanka.
