# Japanese-linked Sugano Colombo to build flexible packaging plant in Sri Lanka

Sri Lanka's Board of Investment signed an agreement with Sugano Colombo Pvt Ltd, a Japanese-linked firm, to set up a flexible packaging plant in Ja-Ela producing mainly flat-bottomed bags for the tea industry. The agreement was signed on 9 September 2019.
