# Leoni expands Cuauhtémoc plant for EV charging and high-voltage cables

Leoni held a foundation-laying ceremony on 14 August 2019 for a 7,000-square-metre expansion of its facility in Cuauhtémoc, Chihuahua, Mexico, to produce EV charging cables and Hivocar high-voltage cables. Production is scheduled to start in Q1 2020.
